Less known, but not for its inferior nature and landscape, the Marche faces the Adriatic Sea and offers an uncontaminated
coast. Inside the walls of the city of Urbino, once the capital of the noble Dukedom of Montefeltro, some of the highest expressions
of the Italian Renaissance are preserved. A holiday in the Marche is a way to relax, but also to enrich yourself. In this
landscape you will find the holiday houses that Cuendet has selected to offer you a holiday in complete freedom: immersed
in the green vegetation are farmhouses, villas, country residences and villas with swimming pool.

Eat...
Piazza della Repubblica (Urbino). Locals, students and tourists alike congregate at this popular restaurant.
Taverna degli Artisti (Urbino). Rustic elegance may best describe this restaurant's decor. Unbelievable pizza may best describe
this restaurant's specialty.
Play...
Pesaro's sandy beaches. Pesaro has a picturesque Renaissance palace, an art museum, and other cultural sites, but this seaside
resort is best known for its beaches. Visitors can pay for umbrellas and deck chairs near the city's center, or seek out a
free beach in either direction.
Giardini Pubblici park (Urbino). The park's location affords fantastic views of Urbino and the surrounding hills of Le Marche.
Explore...
Ducal Palace (Urbino). Discover great works of art, such as Raphael's La Muta, within the palace's more than 300 rooms. This
is the artist's hometown, after all. Reservations may be needed during busier times.
Santuario della Santa Casa (Loreto). Many believe the Virgin Mary once lived here, and thousands make their way to the Shrine
of the Holy House where many important works of art are housed.
The Chiesa dei Morti (Urbania). This tiny church has an impressive display of mummies. The "Mummies Cemetery" is open daily,
except Mondays.
National Museum of the Marches (Ancona). This museum is a highlight among many must-sees in this seaside city, the capital
of Le Marche.
Piazza del Popolo (Ascoli Piceno). The central part of the city was constructed in "travertine" stone, and the "square of
the people" is its centerpiece.
Shop...
Ceramica d'Arte L'Antica (Urbania). Take a ceramics class from a master, then purchase one of the many beautiful pieces sold
in the shop up front.
