Grand Bahama's Island Resort and Golf Club is conveniently located within a short walk to the International Bazaar. Spacious suites and a quiet, peaceful location make this resort great for families. Here you can swim in the heated outdoor pool or enjoy a cookout in the picnic area. Take the resort's shuttle bus to the beach, which is 1.5 miles away. Enjoy shopping at Freeport's Straw Market, International Bazaar, and Lucayan Market Place. The resort can organize tours, such as those to Garden of the Groves and Hydro Flora Garden, as well as snorkeling and fishing trips and sunset cruises.

• All units at Island Resort & Golf Club are air-conditioned and contain a television, microwave oven, iron, and ironing board.
• There are no phones in the units; however, there are two pay phones on-site. Messages can be delivered 24 hours a day.
• All units are 2 bedrooms (maximum occupancy 6) with 2 baths, 1 king bed, 2 twin beds, and two twin day beds.
• There is a US$25 key deposit and a US$25 utilities surcharge deposit payable by cash, traveler's checks, or personal check. MasterCard and Visa are also accepted. The deposits are refundable if utilities usage does not exceed 170 kilowatt hours per week.
• A hotel tax of US$20 per unit week is due upon check-in.
• The Freeport departure tax is approximately US$20 per person.
• One person in the party must be at least 23 years old.
• If you plan to arrive after 7:00 PM, please contact the resort in advance to make arrangements for check-in.

A taxi is recommended for your arrival at the resort. From the Freeport International Airport, turn left on Grand Bahama Highway to Mall Drive. Go south to Pinta Drive, then turn right to Rum Cay Road. The resort is on the left. If you are planning to arrive at the resort after 8:00 PM, please contact the resort in advance for arrangements.
