• A charge for electricity and oil is collected upon arrival.
• The resort recommends purchasing initial provisions are on the way to the cottage.
• A car is essential to fully enjoy the area.
• A telephone is on-site but not in the units.
• The resort request advance notice if maximum occupancy is required.

BY CAR: From Galway, take Clifden road and drive to Oughterard on the N59 (30km). Drive through the village of Oughterard for a further 7km. Look out for signposts on left to 'Connemara Country Cottages' and 'Quiet Man'. Take this narrow road. Cross a hump back bridge and keep straight on, ignoring the two right hand forks until you reach the cottages. Allow 4 hours from Dublin Airport.
