Close by in Arapaho National Forest, you'll discover excellent areas for hiking, backpacking, horseback riding, and other outdoor activities. River rafting is available along the Colorado River. Lake Granby and Grand Lake, both within 35 miles, offer many activities as well. Known best for its skiing, Winter Park is within 3 miles of Timber Run. Fellow ski area Silver Creek is also just a short drive away.

Denver's Airport is 82 miles away. From DIA, follow I-70 West to exit # 232 (US Hwy 40). US Highway 40 will head north over Berthoud Pass for approximately 28 miles. Continue past the entrance to the Winter Park Ski Area and into downtown Winter Park. Turn right at the Park Place Shopping Center on Hi Country Drive. The check-in office is located at the end of the shopping center. Outside the check-in office is our sign: Condominium Management Company/Hi Country Haus.
