The nearest international airport is Zihuatanejo International Airport, located 20 minutes south of Ixtapa. From the airport follow exit road to the main road state highway and turn left. After about 15 minutes you will pass the edge of Zihuatanejo, continue to the same road to Ixtapa. Once you enter Ixtapa, and its speed bumps continue straight for about one mile to Paseo de las Garzas, the firstmain junction. Turn right and you will see Ixtapa Palace on the left hand side of the circle intersection.
