From Funchal airport: Take the main road west towards Funchal. Continue along the motorway under numerous tunnels for 16kms. Follow signs toward the hospital and keep in left hand lane. After a long curve, merge with another motorway. Continue toward the sea until you pass a Repsol on the right. Before first set of traffic lights, filter right but keep to left hand side. Next you will pass a set of traffic lights and the hospital on the right. Continue downhill towards next set of traffic lights. Turn right to go over the bridge and keep to left hand lane and straight over next lights. Pass the Monumental Lido. Resort is 300m further on the right hand side.
