The Plaza Suite Hotel is located downtown in the Warehouse district - within blocks of the French Quarter, Harrah's Casino, the Aquarium of Americas, Riverwalk Marketplace, Morial Convention Center, the St. Charles Canal, and Riverfront street cars. Numerous restaurants are within easy walking distance, as are taxi, bus, and street-car routes for transportation. Some tours provide pick-up service. The Plaza Suite Hotel also has a tropical hot tub area, an atruim with glass skylights on the second floor, and 24-hour security gates. The resort is historically preserved and is more than 100 years old.

From I-10 East or West: Take Business 90 West (exit 234 New Orleans/West Bank). Continue on 90 W to Tchoupitoulas/South Peters St exit. Turn left on South Peters St. The resort is located on the right at 620 South Peters St. Traffic may be problematic. This urban resort does not have private parking. It has a contract with a parking garage offsite, which offers 24 hour access year round at a minumal rate. The service providing airport pick-up is: The Airport Shuttle, which runs to all downtown hotels, and/or taxi services.
