The cottage is surrounded by 4 acres of grounds comprising a lawned area close to the house and grass leading down to the river. There is a railway close by along which a sight-seeing train occasionally passes slowly by. Just a short drive away is the small town of Wiscasset, known as one of the prettiest towns in Maine, and bustling Boothbay Harbor with its attractive marina. • Each heated and air-conditioned unit features a large, open plan living room/dining area/kitchen with wood-burning stove, river views, and a door that opens to a patio and garden. Other features include telephone, satellite television, video/DVD, stereo/CD, radio, a washer/dryer, a dishwasher, and a microwave.
• Two bedroom units have 2 en-suite bathrooms, 1 queen bed, 1 double bed and 1 single bed.
• Outdoor amenities include a barbecue, canoe, kayak, parking, and 4 acres of grounds with river access (fishing permit required).
• A $200 security deposit is required at check-in.
• Smoking and pets are not allowed at this resort.
• A car is recommended to fully enjoy the area.

Exit Portland Intl. Jetport (Portland, Maine) Turn right onto International Parkway. Turn right onto SR-9/22/Congress Street. Take ramp right for I-5 N. toward Falmouth for 24 mi. At exit 28, take ramp right toward Coastal Rt/Brunswick/Bath. Keep left to stay on US-1 North/Blue Star Memorial Hwy. Keep left to stay on US-1/ Blue Star Mem. Hwy/Mill Street for approx. 8.5 mi. Keep left to stay on US-1 for 13.5 mi. Turn left onto Cochran Rd/New Castle Rd. (left before gas station). Bear right on New Castle Rd. Go straight onto Island Rd. Cross Railroad track. Vacation home is first home on your right.
