Lakeside Retreat Vacation Home is a country residence owned by a professional writer and former art teacher. Resting along a rural road overlooking Lake Christopher, Lakeside Retreat is surrounded by an attractive garden and a lawn with a beautiful gazebo. A natural footpath leads to the lake below where there is a boat dock and three boats to choose from. Romantics will enjoy the sounds of a nearby train ambling by one to three times a day. The interior of the house, built in 1853, is pleasant with country antiques and interesting artwork, a grand piano and a screened porch that beckons one to relax and dine while watching the sun set and listening to the sounds of nature.

• Three steps lead up to the small deck entrance and ground floor with includes an entry hall with a second door to the garden, a country kitchen with lake views. An archway leads to the living room, dining area with fireplace, piano and door to screened porch and garden. A full bath is located off the living room.
• The second floor features three bedrooms; 1 queen bedroom has lake views, 1 queen bedroom features a window seat.

Turn right onto US- 202/W Gray Road. Turn left onto SR-26/ Shaker Road. Turn right to stay on SR-26/ Shaker Rd. for 29.9 miles. Turn right onto Fair St. Bear right onto SR-26/SR-117/ Main Street for 16.3 miles. Turn left on Railroad St. & right onto Grove St. Turn right onto Birch St. arrive at #40. The last intersection is Railroad, if you see Christopher Shores, you've gone too far.
