The legendary George Gipp ("win one for the Gipper") was one. So was famous writer John Voelker (aka John Traver). You can
be a one, too, if only for a week or two, when you visit Michigan's incredible Upper Peninsula. The term is YOOPER, but it
might as well be Adventurer, Fun-Seeker or Friend.
When you're here you can't help but get out and explore, no matter the season. Summertime is a great time to find your favorite
spot along miles and miles of Lake Michigan shoreline, get wet at one of the hundreds of deep crystal lakes, or put your handicap
to the test at one of several championship golf courses. Winter visitors have their pick of thrilling ski resorts, massive
indoor water parks, and tribal casinos. Then there's fall, which offers a fantastic opportunity to simply get in the car and
drive as Michigan's trees put on a magnificent Technicolor display.
Famous Mackinac Island is just a short hop from several EVRentals resorts. Mackinac is a grand testament to the 19th century
family getaway, where bikes, horse-drawn carriages - and foot-power - are the only modes of transportation.
