There are many ways to explore New Hampshire, a remarkable state characterized by majestic mountains, rolling hills and historic
coastal communities.
Ski areas such as Bretton Woods and Attatachi lure thrill seekers with the promise of fresh powder and world-class runs on
some of the tallest mountains in the Northeast. The White Mountain National Forest also offers more than 1,000 miles of trails,
ideal for viewing some of the area's 400 wildlife species.
Other visitors choose to view New Hampshire's stunning scenery at a different pace. The steam-powered Mount Washington Cog
Railway slowly chugs more than 6,000 feet to the summit where vast New England views are sometimes shrouded by the clouds.
Historic Portsmouth provides a window into our nation's past. Visitors to this 400-year-old town can view 17th and 18th century
Colonial homes before heading to the local restaurant for an ale and the catch of the day.
Meanwhile, New Hampshire's more than 1,000 lakes offer boating, swimming, skiing and cruising opportunities. Lake Winnipesaukee,
the state's largest, provides more than 300 miles of coastline and 250 islands to explore.
Of course, just about any New Hampshire vacation destination affords the opportunity for a round of unforgettable golf, an
exquisite meal and tax-free shopping. And wherever there's the opportunity for a family adventure, there's Endless Vacation
Rentals, with onsite comforts such as indoor and outdoor pools, restaurants, tennis courts and more.
