Ten miles of beautiful white sand, and one world-famous boardwalk, await you in Ocean City Maryland. Here days blend into
night as families forget their worries and happily lose all track of time. So what's a family in Ocean City to do? Everything.
Fly a kite. Ride a bike, rollercoaster or Ferris wheel. Swim, surf or boogie board. Build a sand castle. Hit the arcade. Take
a nap. When hunger strikes, consider stocking up on famous Maryland crab cakes and saltwater taffy. And when darkness falls,
take in a concert or seek out a bonfire.
Of course, Ocean City's appeal extends way beyond the boardwalk. Home of the world's biggest billfish tournament, Ocean City
affords you the chance to set sail and snare a marlin or other spectacular trophy fish. Golfers have their pick of 17 championship
courses within a short drive, including the Jack Nicklaus-designed Bayside Resort Golf Club. And shoppers have access to a
dizzying array of boutiques, specialty shops and outlets. Just 8 miles to the south sits Assateague Island National Seashore,
where wild ponies roam the beach and more than 320 species of birds come and go.
